We are a Charity based in the Tees Valley catering for the rehabilitation needs of Stroke survivors.
Based at the Sports Village (see page 5 for location) we have dedicated volunteers and Professional Fitness Coaches and we have access to all the standard Gym equipment
WE ALSO HAVE SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT DESIGNED TO HELP STROKE SURVIVORS REHABILITATE SUCH AS

We are regarded as a unique club.
Each session offers:
Sympathetic understanding from dedicated volunteers and other stroke survivors and other members in a lighthearted atmosphere.
An opportunity for exercise and rehabilitation with specialist equipment where required.
Help to stimulate speech, mobility and memory.
Social activities with other participants.
Lots of 'secondary' activities organised by the club and other participants.
There are three regular weekly sessions each Thursday at Middlesbrough Sports Village (opposite Stewart Park - see page 5) as follows:
10:00 until 11:00
12:00 until 13:00
13:30 until 14:30

There is a nominal charge of £1.00 per session, the first (trial) session is free
Each session finishes with a cup of tea/coffee/biscuit and the opportunity to chat with the other participants and volunteers for peer support and friendship.
YOU WILL ALSO MEET MEMBERS OF OTHER CLUBS WHO WILL WELCOME YOU AND OFFER ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS AQUA-AEROBICS AND WALKING FOOTBALL.
